How do you draw like that?

Years of practice and observation got me where I am today. No one taught me.

When did you start drawing?

When I was about four years old.. I think. That means I've been drawing for eight years now. Yeah that's right only twelve years old. Well I was twelve years old when I made this faq...but now I'm too lazy to update it.

What product of sorcery do you draw with?

I draw with a mechanical pencil of some sort and I ink with either a Sakura pigma micron(.005), a cheap papermate dry ink pen, or a mechanical pencil.

Color?

I mainly use Adobe Photoshop 6.0 and an Aiptek Hyperpen usb tablet. But recently I've been fiddling with Macromedia Fireworks 4 and Paint Shop Pro 7. Before Photoshop I used Micrografx Picture Publisher 7 but know I just use it to brand lineart for the web.

How did you make your websites?

At first I used Netscape 4.7s built in Composer, which I highly recommend for you beginners, but then I switched to Microsoft FrontPage and Evrsoft Firstpage 2000 then again to Macromedia Dreamweaver MX.

How did you learn to make your websites?

From example mostly but the good people at pageresource.com, computerarts.co.uk, and deepspaceweb.com should teach you a thing or two.

What's your favorite comic book?

There are many but they include Ultimate X-men, Ultimate Spider-man, The Spawn books, and Sonic the Hedgehog. Comic books in general appeal to me.

When will Mayhem Stone X be released?

Sometime in summer.

All good art inspires me to practice more but my favorites include but are not limited to Patrick Spaziante, Patrick Shettlesworth, Jeff Axer, Akira Toriyama ,Paul Davey, Hyung Tae-Kim, Rose Besch,Paul Davey , Melissa Kwee, Sarah Jaffe, Paul Davey, Rafael Valencia, and Adam and Joe Kubert.

Do you think that your better than Jeremiah Parham?

Jeremiah likes to over detail his pics and I'm not entirely fond of that. Despite that I wouldn't say I'm better than him nor would I say he is better than me. We are equals with different styles. What I will say though is that I'm a better inker.

What is that little "e" all over your website?

That's not an e that's the Mattahan Productions corporate logo it's a P and a G combined into one character it stands for my first name which is hyphenated.
